Dr. Li’s expertise is in pervasive sensing, time-series analysis, distributed computing, data-driven modeling and their applications in industries. Dr. Li received awards and recognitions including NSFC National High-level Talent, SEG J. Clarence Karcher Award, IEEE Mark Weiser Best Paper Award, Kirin Science and Technology Award, International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva Medal. He serves premium conferences and journals as General Chair, TPC member, Associate Editor, Guest Editor, and Board Member. Dr. Li is the founding director of the CPS Computational Learning Laboratory at Beijing University of Technology (BJUT), holds the Professorship in Faculty of Information Technology and courtesy appointment in BJUT Faculty of Environment and Life.
